    ... battle both the traffic and the rain on a bike so we took a quasi golf cart as our means of transport. Along the way we stopped by the JiuXian Ancient Village which is some 300 years old.     ... and apparently, was at one time even larger, but when the economy took a downturn a few years ago, he sold off one section to a restaurateur in Thailand!

    ... to recover and then rented a tandem bike. This meant Neil could cycle whilst Stacey put her feet up :-) We headed to Moon Hill a famous mountain with a hole in it (guess what shape the hole is?) and avid paragliders fly through. An impressive skill to have the nerve to fly through it. It ended up being a fairly tough, steep climb to the top of Moon Hill so rather than cycle back we paid for a rickshaw to take us back with the tandem ...

    ... On the way there, Jeremy's rented bicycle pretty much capitulated. The pedal broke off, the gears seized up and the seat post broke. Instead of going back and swapping it, we locked it up and continued onward.
