    ... it to run the water wheel and mill the rice. Guilin and Yangshuo were amazing places to finish up our time in China. The next day was all day travel to the Perhentian Islands in Malaysia which I had never heard of. We are only going here as we had a week to burn due to my China visa issue.     We grabbed some lunch and then hired out bikes, it is so cheap to hire out bikes here it costs 10RMB (1) a day or 30RMB for a mountain bike, so we hired out mountain bikes and they don't need to be returned until 9pm! We cycled out of the hectic town and then went down a beautiful road that has very little traffic, we cycled through many little villages and followed the

    ... a case of stealing a fridge, hiring a moped with attached trailer and buying enough wholesale beer to satisfy an army. Arguments ensued and our hastily formed trade union threatened strike. Today we have been given our fridge and beer, although we keep it locked at all times. For security reasons I cannot reveal who holds the key.
