Rua de Malaca Macau Peninsula, Macau, China, 853-28361999
The Golden Dragon worked out great with some degree of luck. I chose it based on price initially but when talking to the agent at the Macau Ferry Terminal that there was free internet connection and also breakfast was included. There was a free shuttle from the ferry but it is actually in walking distance. This was a bonus as it became very easy to go to the Ferry terminal and then to take free shuttles to other attraction like the Venetian Casino out on the island of Taipa. It is also in wal...

... find any that tickled her fancy. So we left. It was quite difficult to navigate our way out of the Casino, but on the way out we happened to catch a mini show on the bottom floor. There were fancily dressed dancers, dancing the tango, the salsa, the mambo! It was great fun to watch! By that time, it was around 5:30-6, so we decided to leave and get some money (I had spent it all) and go get some dinner. I wanted to visit the Grand Lisboa Casino and hotel, so ...
Macau, China lrgraves... kummad dollarid tagasi anti, sest Macau rahaga pole väljaspool suurt midagi peale hakata.
Macau Peninsula, Macau, China pille... The top floor houses exhibits on marine technology and transport, dredging and navigation. The Aquarium Gallery in the museum has four tanks, each devoted to a different theme of the sub-water world. The museum is located just opposite the A-Ma Temple. After visiting the museum, it is recommended to visit the A-Ma Temple, which is the oldest temple ...
Macau, China cristinaw... you couldn't really use an umbrella. All and all it was a very cool experience. I was happy though that it wasn't any worse, it could've have gone from fun to scary really quickly. So Macau pre Tropical Storm was very cool. Its like Hong Kong but was run by the Portuguese, not the English. So their is a definite Mediterranean feel to the place. There are ...
Macau Peninsula, Macau, China mo_k... of a red felt-tip pen he'd changed it, moving me from the midday to the 11.30 ferry. Finally an advantage to the nuisance of taking a bike on public transport! The ferry was astonishingly quick, bouncing over what didn't look like much swell with a lurching, rolling motion that would make the sternest stomach tremor. It was only a matter of time before someone succumbed. I had positioned myself at the very front, in order to keep an eye on the bike. It ...
Macau, Macau dynamo... where's my camera? When I was fumbling through my bag looking for Lonely Planet in the middle of the night at the upscale hotel I must have left it sitting there. I called the hotel, even paid a cab to take me back over there and it's no where to be found. On top of that, I woke up with a cold. Bleh. If I get a cold and lose a camera every two weeks, this is going to be a challenging trip! The camera really ...
Macau, Macau jkirbyOK, it is my turn to write a little about our travels thus far. I am a bit apprehensive but I'll do my best. After only three full days in the main cities of Hong Kong, we were feeling a bit claustrophobic and needed some relatively fresh air; so, visiting a nearby island (Lantau) sounded like the perfect get away. Early Tuesday, we set out to get a more detailed map and grab a few more HK dollars and some light ...
Lantau Island, China wanderinawhile... they're not there. Even China doesn't have the resources and people to monitor every Westerner within the country, but they do a great job of making you feel like they do. The nest morning we returned to Hong Kong and breezed right through customs. Not a single person checked my bag, not a single machine x-ray anything. No on asked me where I had been or where I was going or any question at all. We showed up, showed our passports and visas, and walked right through. Security ...
