... got to the first electricity pylon, but this gave us fantastic views of the sea right across the bay.
You could see where there had been a fire right across the hillside, and only ground cover was growing - the trees hadn't recovered yet.

... pleasure, after 3 (free!) nights in MH Aires to be able to hook up to the electricity and switch on the kettle and not worry about how much electric we were using.
As the sun disappeared from clear skies it started to cool down rapidly and we had to put the Silver screens and electric fire on. It seemed strange to go to bed surrounded by other people and lights ...

The day started well enough with a nice walk along the beach, lunch in a beachside restaurant over looking the harbour... After lunch a few more beers in a couple of different bars and it was late afternoon, Linda and Mandy returned with Tia to Herman for the night as Mark, Cani and I powered on into the evening at the Tapas Bar, Beers, Run&Cokes and Bottles of Wine all being consumed... We will spend the rest of December in Barcelona/Tarragona, and then we will spend the very beginning on January in England with another friend of ours, and then I have a very quick turn around and head to Murcia on the 7th. So you'll probably hear from me again sometime in the middle of January when I getting settled into my new city!

... shades of blue and green, totally amazing…..so we took a load more pictures!

All in all we have had a brilliant 9 days on this site, the only real downside was the wind which gusted so strong at times that we felt that the van would get blown over! It also meant that we didn’t sleep very well for most of our stay, but I guess you can’t have it all eh?

We are now off to do our second workaway on an olive farm…..wish us luck!!!!
