... arrives, probably in an hour or two.
Now I'm feeling a little remote. I'm pretty good at making the best of a situation, and dealing with the resources I have. As I haven't eaten yet today, I search a few of the nearby gardens for a bit of fruit to tide me over. Under the cover of early morning light I find a mature pomegranate tree loaded with fruit. I grab 5 of the plumpest fruits I can find and wander ...

The west and south coast of Portugal is pretty much a long stretch of beaches surrounded and separated by huge red cliffs and you can get from one beach to another by crawling through caves in the cliffs (I also think that's where the bums sleep at night...) We did some surfing at a small secluded beach that I had been to 4 years ago with my family. We’re ...
Portimão, Algarve, Portugal sofenjon... to head into London city to get to Gatwick) but since we landed at Terminal 4, we needed to get ourselves to Terminal 5 in order to get on the shuttle service to Gatwick (to do this, we were told to use a local bus, however even the locals had troubles identifying which bus one would catch from which stop as they keep changing them so often,
It actually took 30 mins to get from Terminal 4 to Terminal 5. When at Gatwick, we had problems identifying which was the ...
... to arrive in hot places at midday carrying rucksacks and looking lost, we arrived in Tavira at around 1230 the mercury hitting 35 degrees, laden down and looking lost. Our hotel, booked online, for its proximity to the town centre could be seen high on a hill overlooking the town, perched in such a way as to be visible but seemingly disconnected from the narrow twisty streets. After a few wrong turns and a scare from a little but vicious dog, we ...
Tavira, Algarve, Portugal warmBussed to Faro, a small seaside town with not a hell of a lot really!!
Our room had no window, but faked the appearance by having a curtain anyway... nothing like a little bit of closet sleeping!!
Went for a swim at the beach/lagoon with our 1.60 euro bottle of red ...

... 1755). Faro oli looduslike jõude poolt täielikult maatasa tehtud.
Algarve piirkonna pealinnas käisime vaid korraks õhtul. Mulle jättis see nn piirkonna suurima linna kohta ikka väga väikse linna mulje.

Quarteira, Algarve, Portugal pille
