    ... Wall of China, right? Have you heard about the Mini Great Wall of Cheung Chau (BTW, chau means island). From a busy village where you arrived take any of narrow paths toward the Wall. It’s a very pleasurable walk with some great views. Passing temples, Christian church (you may do retreats here), beach and many beautiful trees and plants you will arrive at the mini wall…yes, mini wall.

    ... to be caused by a tour group whose leader had apparently not bought tickets in advance. It was a reminder of why I dislike tour groups so much and generated a sense of foreboding at the group we'd be joining in a week's time in Beijing. We ended up queuing for tickets longer than the journey itself takes up the hill.     ... able to get into our room straight away. We went for a look around the shops but found they don't open until 11am so we came back to the hotel and had a sleep for two hours. We set our alarm so as not to sleep all day and it was just enough. We have been talking to Tim already and we are meeting up with him and Charlie after they finish work. That will be so cool.     ... our luggage multiple times and dealing with the train operations that never have any English speaking people would be better. We ended up with Mario Andretti at the wheel.
