... She had some great pictures too. I really thought the night tour was worth the time. While we were waiting for the colosseum we went and watched 5d movie. It was horrible! I've been to much better 4D/5D movies when I was like 12 years old. The animation sucked, the motion was basic and the story was.... Full of holes. Don't ever go. Seriously. On the whole though, great day ...

... There was no other part of the statue remaining, just the toe. The Sistine Chapel was genuinely surreal to be inside, I just wish we could have taken pictures (although I understand). The ceiling was really neat and iconic. I didn't realize that behind God in Michelangelo's famous 'God reaching out to Adam’ picture, he built in the shape of the human brain. Now we come around the bend about 10 minutes into the trip and there is a woman at one of ...

... the train, but the numerous changes we had to make, didn't let me doze for long. I felt more in a state of drowsing, rather than invigorating myself, but the sights of the coastline and mountainous landscape eased my agitated mind. The voyage itself seemed quite free of unlucky happenings, and Salvo and I reached Sicily before we expected. We both agreed on spending the night in Torino prior to heading to Aidoni (where ...

Conquering Rome in a (Rainy) Day

... he honked his horn, we knew our time was up, and he proceeded to drive us to the Colesseum. The rain eased up, so we were able to take our time walking around the Colesseum and taking pictures. The Colesseum is something I will never get tired of looking at. Alana had some fun with some of the "Gladiators" that hang out around the Colesseum and proceeded to have an amazing photo shoot with them.

We then walked past the Roman Forum and to the ...
