We ventured out, crossed over a rather new looking car/coach park onto the pavement that ran alongside the sea towards the dock gate. This pavement was in contrast to the pristine looking car park and was full of potholes and uneven slabs. We passed a guard on the dock gate who was busy on his mobile phone to even offer us ...
turns out it was 90 degrees off and out of the door on the concourse – staff didn’t
seem to think that was a problem. Had I known (I should have guessed) how

... at half time. The stewards were not getting involved - obviously not wanting to bing down any rath on themselves or their families by upsetting the witch doctor. He (or the Ghanaian team at least) almost took home all 3 points but a German equaliser meant the game ended 2-2. 11 goals in 2 games was a good return so far. The journey home meant a lot of queuing and pushing to get on a bus - glad to leave behind the drunk Germans and the "too young" girls ...
