In principe wacht het schip niet indien je op eigen houtje van boord gaat en te laat terug bent. Het is dan ook vreemd dat om 15u de gangplank nog uit ligt en er nog steeds gewacht wordt. We pile out and go straight to the ticket office. A very arrogant and not friendly Greek lady serves us. Next boat to Mykonos is not until 7.30pm she says, Great, bloody hell a 4 hr wait. We head to a taverna and have an expensive lunch. Well at least we are going to get to Mykonos tonight so we hoped. Santorini Port is buzzing big time with heaps of tourists, tour buses, local buses, touts, scooters, mad drivers, ...

... who works at this resort. She was lovely and funny. We talked about different nationalities and had some funny stories to tell. She mentioned that Greece is taken over by rich Russians and French but we thought it was more Brits. She said she likes Aussies but not so keen on some others. She was telling us that the fur coats we see in the shops are catered for the rich Russians and well we both agree we hate fur coats and would never own one. No dinner but ...
