... souvenirs. I, having no room in my backpack for anything, enjoyed just looking at all the pretty stuff i didn't need. Aftersunset, we went back down to the harbour to a place called plaza of stars. ITs supposed to celebrate the Hong Kong Film industry, but everyone goes there for the spectacular nnight view of the harbour. We arrived just in time for the "Symphony of LIghts". Then we set off to go and see the symphoney of lights where the buildings light up in time to music.....again too foggy to see but at least we are showing willing! See photos again.

Today we are off to see Budda on the path of enlightenment. Fingers crossed for the weather.

... station there. We were flummoxed again upon on arrival at the metro station as the ticket machine was all in Chinese. After a short while of looking clueless at one of the machines the same bloke appeared behind us and told us he would order us a Taxi. Whilst being helpful and polite he was very forceful and we were in no position to argue. With no education in Mandarin we were clearly up the proverbial creek and he was our paddle. As we followed him through ...

In summary, remove the traditional rudeness of the Chinese park goers themselves and Hong Kong Disneyland is a very nice park with a beautiful mountainous backdrop. It’s clean and has some wonderful attractions. You would need no more than 1.5 days with low crowds like we had. I couldn’t imagine going there in the dead of the summer heat with ...
