    ... Easy, sunny and many of the buildings painted white but crumbling were nice. The river did stink though! I'd asked at the hotel and they said due to it being Eid there may not be many hotels open so advised me to walk (they said short, it wasn't) around the corner to a street of Chinese restaurants.
