    Today started at our usual pace of slow... Breakfast at the studio, Greek yogurt with honey, croissant and coffee. The down to the beach to park ourselves under a sun umbrella and swim and read and swim and read and swim and read.. I'm guessing you get the picture.     Decided the boys could go off looking at dead bricks while Ruth and I went shopping. Thought we would catch the bus, well after waiting ages for the bus to show up the driver did some sort of weird hand signal and stopped away from the bus stop. Ruth ran to catch it but he drove off.     ... to George and he told us his love story he bought us a round of shots. Ouzo for the boys and peach schnapps for the girls. Then Constantine decided he needed to give us shots too. A round of strawberry schnapps.
    Then we went over to the supermarket to meet Mary. She still sounds like an Aussie.

    ... this beggars belief, the island used to grow enough wheat to necessitate a dozen windmills, which still line the ridge above town. How and where they possibly managed to grow even a handful of wheat on the steep rocky slopes, I have no idea. I stayed in the old town at the top of the hill above the harbour, which is an incredible maze of interlinking stairways and alleys, and completely pedestrian, giving it a very otherworldly feel.
