... Today was Pride day, similar to our Mardi Gras but with added significance that same sex marriage in all of the states has now been passed by congress. Amazing parade over 3+ hours with some great sights. Great vibe with lots of who hoo's and yeah ha's. Lunch in Greenwich village at Le Brunch with a mostly Gay clientele where the party contined. This morning the art and media students went to a photography workshop at Central station with a local freelance photographer. The students were taught about leading lines, subjects and backgrounds. I decided I really wanted BBQ, as we were in Texas, so we made our way from C28 to C6, where the BBQ restaurant was. Except, it was really BBQ take out, so we didn't have to pay tip, which was good. I ended up getting the Brisket TX style plate with Mashed potatoes and mac & cheese and barbecue sauce while my mom got the chicken plate meal with a drink. My food was actually pretty good, better than I expected, so I was satisfied.
