... at a little cafe called sbarro. We went and got our NYC Pass and then took a walk from penn station all the way up Broadway back to our hotel (about 30 blocks ) stopping at a lot of shops along the way. ... Empire State Building all lit up and the view of Uptown and Downtown are fantastic, well they were right. The main observation area is on 67th floor. The deck is surrounded by a glass safety barrier which made photography difficult, however if you climb up two more floors, you can view the city without the glass barrier and with far fewer people. Glad I climbed up to get the shots below.

... the recent snow still around in piles of ice etc.... We ended up with a pile of new shoes, clothes and watches but overall we probably wouldn't do this again, it was not really that cheap and given we're not really into labels (Gucci, Burberry etc...) not our thing.
