Had a much better sleep last night, no waking up with a headache at 3am, so I must be getting acclimatised. So was looking forward to a good day on the slopes.
Looked out the window to find what looked like whiteout conditions. 5cm of powder had fallen overnight and it was still snowing. Bit disappointing as today was to be our day for using the GoPro in real conditions. But I guess at least we had powder to ski in! Anyway decided ...

Jeep with lots of body damage from an accident. I decided that regardless of
how tired I was from Mount Massive I’d park for free in the municipal parking
deck and save $20 when it came to be my turn to pay for the night.
We met Doug’s friend Bobby May for a few beers in the
evening and made plans for a hike with him on Thursday. Vail is a great place
... before some real hiking. We took the night in Breckenridge fairly easy
in preparation for our more strenuous hikes in the days ahead, in contrast to
our usual boozy reunions. Doug was quite unimpressed with the Italian
restaurant he chose in Breckenridge, one not memorable enough for me to recall
the name, but he’s from the East Coast and a bit of an Italian food snob.
