      ... walked downtown then crossed the river again and this time Tom was able to get the photos he wanted. We then had lunch at the café at the Guggenheim before exploring the city some more. Yet another early night but we are both slowly getting better.

      Bilbao is an amazing place. Nearly all the buildings, bridges, trams, lighting. etc. have a sculptural feel to them.

      Up at 7:30 today in the hope of getting into Bilbao relatively early. We always plan to get going quickly but somehow we never quite manage it.       Not much to report today. We got up in a warmer van this morning and made our plan for Bilbao. We read that parking in Bilbao is pretty awful so we opted for a campsite 30 minutes outside the city with a nearby metro stop that would take us in quickly.
