... and a chocolate and apple crepe for 6 euros. We then went to the Guggenheim Museum which is supposedly a famous museum? I don't know but it was very neat. My favorite exhibit I managed to get a picture of because you weren't allowed to take photos. It was these column of words going up and down and overlapping with a blue light blinking behind it that was supposed to represent a mind and thoughts. The phrases were things like "my mother knows" and "I can smell you on me" and "I ...

Up at 7:30 today in the hope of getting into Bilbao relatively early. We always plan to get going quickly but somehow we never quite manage it. By the time everyone has eaten breakfast, taken it in turns in the tiny bathroom, dressed themselves in the cramped space, and then tended to the camper's needs – emptying tanks, filling up our water, etc. – the intended departure time is usually long gone. Not much to report today. We got up in a warmer van this morning and made our plan for Bilbao. We read that parking in Bilbao is pretty awful so we opted for a campsite 30 minutes outside the city with a nearby metro stop that would take us in quickly. We decided on another two day stop there which meant we could take our time in arriving and only go into Bilbao the following morning. After breakfast we took a walk around ...

... I went with Kevin and Izas to have diner. A friend of Izas also joined us. It was lat but we found a place where to eat something. Then we went to see one of the concerts that were taking place in Bilbao.

At 1h I left them and went to sleep. The next day I would have to come back to my bike.

I have to thank a lot Laura, Izas and Kevin for showing me Bilbao! It was a fantastic day!
