We read that parking in Bilbao is pretty awful so we opted for a campsite 30 minutes outside the city with a nearby metro stop that would take us in quickly. ... came up with nothing. We eventually pulled into a little back street garage and a young Morrocan wannabe footballer type gent adjusted the spark plugs and we were on our way.

We camped in Itziar near Zumaia (between Bilbao and Zumaia) in Itxaspe campsite. The sun was out when we arrived, that didn't last long.
