A day of lots of trains
... reached Kamakura itself. It was very hot today and as the temples involved a lot of climbing of steps we were in need of a coffee and a rest after that. The three temples were all very impressive but quite busy. At the Kanchoji one the main hall was full of hundreds of women and men in black kimono and yukata sitting on the floor eating their lunch - very strange. What a fascinating city
... Elysees in Paris. Plenty of window shoppers here, as the streets are full of brand name stores. You name it is here.
All this walking has given us an appetite. We stopped at a cafe very similar to the ones in Paris. Could not believe the prices. $12.50 for a Cafe Latte, or you could have a Pizza, Pasta or main meal for $10.

Sunshine City
... wo wir uns die Sunshine City ansahen. Die war wirklich so wie ich mir Tokyo vorgestellt hatte: riesige Fußgängerzone mit 1000 Menschen und vielen Lichtern – sehr beeindruckend!! :)
In einem Department Store kauften wir uns noch Getränke (Oolong Tee! :D) und dann fuhren wir eh schon mit der U-Bahn zurück ins Hostel!
