... an incredible opportunity this was.

I also have to say that I am very happy to have had a travel partner with Kristen. It seemed to everyone in the group that we had known each other for quite a while, so how fortunate that we were able to become fast friends!

I rushed off to the monorail, took it to my stop, and followed the crowd of people to a nearby station where I looked for a train that went to my next stop, Aoyama-Itchome Station.

There are quite a few private lines, where the JR Pass isn't valid, but it's an amazing deal, and makes it so much easier not having to buy a ticket. ... strict 7 minutes is a little silly yeah? Well how about an hour long queue, which i had for Gran Turismo 6? Or the 90 minute queue for Titanfall which i didn't bother with? Or the 2 hour queue for Knack which i laughed at? Or how about the 3 hour queues for GTA 5 and Dark Souls 2 which were just astonishing.
