A drive to Lake Louise, I don't think you could ever get tired of this scenery and then it's time to ride the gondola/ chairlift. This is supposedly one of the best opportunities to catch sight of a bear and I think I wouldn't even mind that. We set off early, heading East to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. As we reached the Trans-Canada highway the scenery exploded into deep green, pine tree laden mountains, with craggy tops and snow tips and dropped down into opaque opal green rivers yand lakes.
