... which is when we quickly ducked off onto the pavement and up a flight of stairs.

With absolutely no idea where they were going (the sign above the door was for a dentist surgery!) it all became clear at the top of the stairs.

We were in a cocktail bar called Bayside Lounge overlooking the bay and what would be the best firework seats in town!

... nope, actually I'm about to go into the..." and then found myself in the river. My priority whilst in the water was "hold on to the paddle" and "grab the rope on the side of the boat", I'm glad to say I did both, and like Kirsty I got hauled back into the raft, to end up on the floor of the raft upside down and backwards, laughing. ... quick observations: people love to camp out here. All the camp grounds are full, full, full, and there are many of them. People love to bike up and down the steep roads. Our Florida biking has not prepared us for these hills. Indians, people from India, are here in great numbers. We were surprised to see so many of them in Canadian parks. Prices are sky high; something about the law of supply and demand.

Woke up at 6am and sleep dressed the kids ran the lice comb through Micah, Ebony & my hair it will have to do till we get to our next stop. We have a huge day of driving today about 500 miles that’s about ........ Hours so no time to dillydally this morning. Our next stopover is Golden in Canada.
