It was another early start today, but well worth it. Today we would be visiting Luzern, Switzerland, a beautiful lake town located in central Switzerland. Our first stop was the Lion monument, which was built in the 1800s to commemorate over 700 Swiss guards who gave up their lives in order to protect Louis XVI at the start of the French Revolution. All very chaps and some great cars. Followed by ...

After lunch I took the train back down the rest of the mountain, did some shopping and bought more food to make dinner. Exhausted from my day, I had dinner and spent the night in my dorm talking with some of my roommates from Korea.

First off, my apologies for the long absence. I can say that this has been the first moment since I left my host family in Spain that I haven't been in chaotic travel mode. After leaving Liendo, I made a stop in Bilbao where I visited the beautiful Guggenheim museum (highly recommend) and then traveled on to meet my lovely friend Madeline in her new home town, Barcelona. I had the pleasure of experiencing Barcelona as a local, with my own tour guide. We spent most ...
