We walked the Interlaken Ost and caught the 103 bus to Lake Brienz.. It was absolutely spectacular. We hugged the coast on the winding road, got to Iserwelt, the end point on the bus route and turned around to come back. ... which would have been even more beautiful if it had not been overcast and raining. Lots of mountains, valleys, cows and Canola Oil fields. The bright yellow flowers of the Canola Oil fields contrasted beautifully with the dark green pasture land for the cattle. Beautiful scenery.

Both Lausanne and Bern were quick stops and on to Interlaken. We got a glimpse of the beauty of the Alps as we headed from Bern to Interlaken. ...

... course it was just blowing gale force winds and didn't clear. One side eventually did though and we did be some awesome views down the valley. Next stop was to get outside into the snow which is through another tunnel - story of the day was when Scott threw a snow ball at me and it turned out it was an ice block and really whacked me in the leg...not as funny as he was hoping it would be with me hopping around in pain! We did start getting some views down ...
