I also urged mom and Vivian after an exhausting day, to walk to another part of the city to see the National historical archeological museum. ... It is an absolutely beautiful island. We got the whirlwind tour! WE LOOKED LIKE THE DONKEYS.... everyone charging into this little area with an hour to shop! We took some amazing pictures and will post some when we can. We sat by the funicular and drank Santorie white wine and watched the sunset.
Not such a bad life if you don't weaken!

Second day in Greece
In the morning before we left for the island of Serifos, we took a walk around the port of Pireaus. I saw lots of empty markets becuase it was early at 5am. I lliked how they all had little thin width shops behind their market stall fronts. They were maily meat and fish and some fruit. We saw heaps of homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks.
