... times during class... Haha, not exactly part of my lesson plans but hey, it was a fun way to kill 20 minutes at the end of class on a Friday. One thing I did notice was that the performances seemed to get progressively better as they went, which was kind of disappointing, seeing as it was pretty obvious and they were being judged for it. On top of that, they put so much importance on beauty that they ...

... understanding concepts, between classes not just in our own subject. It is actually working quite nicely. It was a very strange experience considering we had to stop every couple of sentences so one of our students could translate for us. After a small debate as to who was going to cut our hair, we were sent to have our hair washed. We were sat down and forcefully scrubbed. One of my favourite things is having my hair washed but, this was awkward and somewhat unpleasant, at one point they started to push forcefully on the top of my head which almost gave me a head ache! The shampooing smelled ...

... the e bike! I just love it :) I'm hoping this week will go by quickly, I am reading The Wave with my students- about Nazis and how a school experiment to create a similar dictatorship situation went terribly wrong. The students seem to be open to it, here they are taught that Hitler was a good man, realistically, from their perspective-which is selective- they see him as having helped Germany as a country coming out of World War One, so I have to be careful about how ...
