Vi har nu tilbragt fire dage i Gunung Mulu National Park og er netop vendt tilbage til hovedkvarteret efter at klaret vort livs hidtil hårdeste præstation: The Pinnacles! Vi startede allerede klokken halv syv om morgenen og så gik det i rask tempo de første 200 meter, hvorefter vi blev mødt af en stejl skråning og et reb. Klatreturen var begyndt. ... fishermen..answer is "I don't know...maybe a little further inland"...very reassuring!!! We still all end up in the water, but only knee deep...as if that was gonna held in case of attack!!!!!! After a while we decide to check out another beach and that one had a lifeguard on duty. Good sign! After swimming we get some corn on the cob from a beach street vendor and about 20 satay stick, hmmmm, delicious! After that we head to Miri again to do some shopping...they have like tons ...

Last but not least was our final walk to Pantu Waterfall for some swimming. Unfortunately this one turned out to be all really steeply downhill which we knew we would have to walk back up dam! First we staggered down a very steep root hill then we arrived at millions of steps which went down for ages all the plants along the trail were beautiful all really lush and green!
