... closed in preparation for a special Christmas mass that will take place tomorrow morning at 8am, and we are welcome to attend. From there we visit the adjoining cemetery, which looks completely different from what you normally see in Western Europe or in the States. You don’t see big tombstones/markers much in Romanian cemeteries, but rather it’s a series of simple orthodox crosses. Quiet, respectful, peaceful.

We also have 2 ER physicians, including Dr. Pam Ramsey, our medical director, an ophthalmologist and a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist ) who puts the patients to sleep, wakes them up and monitors their condition during the surgery.
