    ... B in a peaceful alpine village. The serenity is unbelievable. So quiet, you hear lots of birds & the water running down the hills & streams. Cars are so noisy.     ... the village of Grindewald (we were staying in Grindewald Grund). Our hostel wasn’t far from the village, but we had to walk up a huge hill! By the time we got to Grindewald central we were so tired. It was a real ski village; there wasn’t much there but a few shops.
