      ... arrived there exactly 40 minutes later than we should have!

      Parking the car and heading out, we walked up and down the hill twice, missed the loos and back tracked once again. Went down a third time after Talia decided that she DID in fact need to go and finally went up to see the castle, after chasing Talia the other way -

      ... all crooked and jagged and pointy and it really dominates the skyline of Zermatt. I got off the train and realised that I haven't bothered at all to look at how to get to my hostel - not something you want to realise when you've already strapped your 20kg pack to your back and the surrounds have a steady slope upwards.       ... friend there were two girls and one boy and they were also there for an holiday trip from UK and it was a huge co- incidence that they were staying in the same hotel in which we were staying. Together we all went to a shopping plaza named Glatzzenttrum from where we did some shopping.

      ... stop and have a beer!

      I went back down then chose another pass which was open. Oh yes, there are signs actually down at the bottom of these mountains that show you whether the passes are open or not. I leaned this after my visit up to the closed road.

      The Gindlepass was so so so much higher again I could not look down it was again up and up and up, there was lots of snow, walls and walls of it. Its summer over here ...
