Welcome to my travelling blog. If anyone is at all interested this can be a quick and easy way to update lots of different people all at once so enjoy if you fancy some bedtime reading! So I've had my last weekend at home. It's been emotional of course ;) and I'm starting to really realise the big trip is fast approaching. About time! ... walking on the C2C. AND, if I continue to average 7 miles a day, then I will have done the same number of days as the C2C and..........approximately half the distance; I'd be walking halfway to paradise, sort of! And there you have it; there you have the strange workings of my quirky mind.....the somewhat spurious reason why I was thinking of Billy Fury and Halfway to Paradise!!!

We had been on 48 hour moorings at the junction so moved around the corner to another 48 hour spot. Dave and Sue popped over to see us this afternoon which was really nice, though I was not very sociable as I was watching the womens' final at the time. Dave took the measurements of our cratch as we need a new one to replace our present one which is disintegrating ...

Day 2 of Bryan getting up early. He was up at 6.30 this morning and we were off by 8. It was a beautiful morning. Clear blue sky and slightly warm.
