... ciao" to this kid and that was the extent of our knowledge of one another, but I was too tired to care, and I've come to expect random things here. Plus, it was butt-suckin cold there, so all I wanted was to huddle under my blankets and sleep.
Usually on Sundays the family goes to church then heads over to the grandparents apartment in Borgo for lunch, where all the aunts, uncles and cousins come too. But the dad, Caesar (pronounced Chezz-ah-ray)(how ...
I am only stayin the night just to see the Matterhorn. The sun is out and I took a hike up nearby hill. It was about an hour and a half uphill walk with regular short stops to catch my breath. I think I have had enough of hiking now, I did 4 hours of it at Montreux as well, I must have the best **** at the moment. Spectacular view of the mountain at the hilltop though. It's less of a mountain and more of a giant pinnacle of rock. It looks menacing, to prove it there is a nearby graveyard full ...

Instead, we took the Gondola/Tram/Tram route to the top of the Klein Matterhorn (little Matterhorn) at 3800m for a short ...

... train to 3,200 meters and hiking some of the way back down. The glaciers were impressive, however the views were muted as the weather was a bit cloudy.
... sort of clothes line hook up and have a shower, splurging 20e cents in the process. Rob has outdone himself and presents me with a two tier pulley system which over a high tree in our pitch ROB - I have patented this and believe this will make our fortune back in blighty, I hang them up and he hoists them to proudly mark our patch with knickers and such.
