Is this escape or running away?

... world? Big question, if not a long one! But a good question nonetheless. Why not?! I have nothing to run away from so that bit was easy to answer. But escape....now there's a thought :-) I predict that, although I will enjoy this experience, I will understand and begin to appreciate the brilliance and freedom we experience in the UK compared to other countries even though we take it for ...

... That's a double sadness in itself, I love my house and to me it marks the end of Tom's childhood, happy/sad feelings all around. Having said that you'd never think he was leaving tomorrow his bedroom looks like a tornado has ripped through it and dumped all his belongings in a heap in the middle! We arrived in Krabi and it was a relief that we were staying in a nice hotel. In fact it was amazing. After walking past a number of tsunami evacuations signs (which I couldn't work out was a relief or worrying sign) on the way to the beach, we arrived at a big beach with nice sand. A little Thai lady took a liking to us and persisted to follow us walking the length of the beach to try to convince us to go and have a Thai massage at her shop. We managed to loose her ...

... Taylor, Roger Dacy, Georgie Ibbott, Sandie Silva, Sharon Kaproulias and others could help here. First there signage is hopeless and second, the lady serving us said "could you please come up to the counter - we have a fancy cash register that does everything?" Gee, we only wanted two coffee - even I could remember that? Okay, enough of my marketing, customer service critique ...
