We headed to Santa Monica first thing to get tickets for an open top bus tour of Hollywood. We strolled the Walk of Fame, viewed the Hollywood Sign and paid a visit to the Hard Rock. ... the line would have taken about a half an hour. On our way back to PCC, we stumbled upon the church of Scientology's main building in East Hollywood. It's blue. And big. And looks like a insane asylum. No joke. From there we headed back to base camp and had dinner. I might go get a donut at a donut shop here in Pasadena, but I'm not sure yet. Other than that, I'm excited for my first day at my internship tomorrow, Woohoo!

... this is a well established tradition but what is different this year is that the temperatures in Pasadena are going to hit a record low (around 30 degrees, I think) so there has been a lot of news coverage of those camping out on the street overnight. I left for dinner at the Kilauea Lodge at 6pm for my 6:30 reservation. I was ready so figured I’d see if they could take me early. Whereas we think Disneyland has a slightly more sentimental and exciting air, Disney California Adventure (DCA) is just pure fun and thrills. Every ride thrilled us to certain extents.
