... Bangkok, streets were clean, traffic nowhere near as bad as we expected and easy to get around. The only disappointing part of the day was The walk of fame, there is no real purpose to it, its just loads of tourists looking at stars because its the thing to do here, and we fell into the same trap, but its now ticked off the list. The best view of the sign was in the plaza at the back of the Dolby Theatre, Hollywood mission accomplished. The Walmart trip was an experience and one ...

Another glorious sunny day here at Universal Studios Hollywood. Highlights of the day include; the new Minion Mayhem ride, seeing the real ET, the DeLorean, riding The Revenge of the Mummy, the Waterworld Stunt Show and eating dipping dots. The Backlot Tour included the biggest 3D animation in the world, King Kong as well as sets from The Hunger Games and War of the Worlds. Lunch was partaken at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. then home for some beach ...

Our journey started at 4.30am this morning, (Sunday 14th). The cab was booked for 5.30 to collect us. Got to Heathrow within 50mins so had plenty of time to check in, eat and hang around. Luckily our flight wasn't delayed or anything and in fact, think we actually left about 10 mins before original departure time. Flight was awful! 11 hours in such a small space is not good. We had server turbulence a few times and the hostesses were rude and unhelpful. But at last we landed. Got ...

Today we started our journey to the states. For Damian it's his eighth visit to LA and my second. But a first for us together. We woke early and finished packing our final luggage making sure passport and cash was in hand before being collected by our chariot to the airport. We ordered a wagon and got a bus. Just a little funny. Nothing like over doing it. It was a little strange leaving as we really haven't had the best lead up or countdown to the trip. We were both excited ...
