We set our early on Saturday having decided to watch the day's racing from Bradden Church. We set ourselves up on the supplied chairs, got our cake and coffee from the ladies inside the church hall and waited for racing to begin. The scheduled time came and went. This was to be the first day of racing but the best laid plans of Manx Men don't always go as planned. The wind was howling over the ...

I woke up so sick, went back to bed and Bryan headed for the grandstand. I slept, he took many photos in the pits and of bikes parked. No racing as wind absolutely howling and rather cool. Found a chemist and got drugs - sinus spray and cold and ...

This time the break down was up on the mountain with no pub in ...

... this race track right on my tail end but accelerating out of these hairpins and up the rather steep slopes no car has any chance over a bike and by the time I see them again I’m right up on the mountain overlooking the town with my camera taking photos!!

This road is as smooth as glass and is just amazing. Sports bikes come racing past me at hi speeds but even though my bike is not a sports machine it’s still great fun on this long winding road.

... Raspberries were excellent. Really need to stop buying haribo.

June 30, 2012 Not going to see the sharks again today either so at breakfast, we ask for suggestions from other guests. We have also looked at some brochures and such to figure out the best course of action. We decided to head for the Laxey Wheel which is supposed to be the largest working water wheel in the world and then go to the south of the ...
