    ... this race track right on my tail end but accelerating out of these hairpins and up the rather steep slopes no car has any chance over a bike and by the time I see them again I’m right up on the mountain overlooking the town with my camera taking photos!!

    This road is as smooth as glass and is just amazing. Sports bikes come racing past me at hi speeds but even though my bike is not a sports machine it’s still great fun on this long winding road.

It’s not easy for me to go up a lot of stairs these days but I have always maintained that the best stuff is up so we went. It did have marvelous views.
