    ... we had a look around the other half - The Grove. A beautifully lit avenue led to the actual shopping complex, with fairy lights and a fountain, and very tasteful (meaning expensive) boutiques and restaurants.

    It was great for a few photo ops, then we had to settle down to the hard grind home.

    And there was a bus which would take us from Hollywood to Glendale, which was leaving from Hollywood Boulevard, just a few bus stops from where we were. So back to ...
