          ... other locals and flashlight scouring the dark forest. We actually found a number of wild elephants. A small pack at a watering hole and a baby that was trying to make a fight for our jeep, while minutes later the mama was lumbering up the hill after. The forest was so beautiful as the light seeped out and dusk became dark and the sky became riddled with stars and planets and Orion lept out at me as a familiar friend.

          ... I observed 42 different species, almost all of which I hadn't seen before. Many of the tropical birds in India are bright and stunningly colorful.

          ... was spotted at that very place 2 nights before. While searching, he showed me some deers that were sleeping. He also showed few wild rabbits during this jumbo hunt. It was an awesome experience to be in the wild at night. As we found no elephant around we returned and I went to sleep with the thrill and excitement of being out in the forest at night and having seen some animals on our way.
