... memories. Don't ask me how but I got into bed at 4am, so I was far from an early riser on Saturday 31st! I didn't have a silly amount to drink, just went to what felt like a dozen different bars! After finally waking up, I went to QT gardens from some fresh air in the hope it would clear my headache & to finish the last few pages of my book. I'd definitely recommend the Janson Directive by Robert Ludlum, if you like your spy thrillers. The QT gardens were ...

Today was our lucky day.. There was 2 spare seats! So we had to zoom out to his work. It was just a short trip we were going on, but we were still excited. Pete gave us the safety briefing with the other passengers, and then ...

We left the Stewarts to continue our adventure and flew to Queenstown. A huge thanks to Jeremy and Mandy for opening their home to us. Jeremy dropped us at the airport. As we entered Queenstown, the mountains were covered in snow, a real winter wonderland. We picked up the rental and drove to our hotel. Booked in at around 4pm. Went for a walk ...

... of hours. A bit like a Saga cruise I think. But very enjoyable with excellent views all along the lake.
We've now returned to the campsite, poured some drinks and are sitting in the lounge updating this blog and watching the final of the Cricket World Cup. New Zealand bowled out for 183. I think Australiia may have the edge on this one.
We move on again tomorrow to Te Anau and hopefully a trip to Milford ...
