          ... passed which they loved! After drinks, we drove back to Nakhom to visit the big temple. It was very impressive and like most Buddist temples, was very quiet and peaceful. We lit incense sticks to burn outside the temple. The stillness and calm was followed by the noise and chaos of the protests.           ... set up for tourists with signs and information in English, but there is a complete lack of visitors. In some cases this seems a great shame, as they must have spent a fair bit on the fancy leaflets that promote some of the sights.

          Getting around is simple enough despite the language barrier. Just hail one of the many blue songtaews along Ratchadamnoen Road and get on for the fixed fee of 10 baht and get off wherever you want. ...

          ... br> We thought we would get 30 days, we need 30 days! We are scheduled to stay in Thailand until 3rd Jan! It turns out that if you fly into Thailand you get 30 days but crossing the border by land only gives you 15. What the hell are we going to do?!

          ... just joking around so much, it's great. One girl in particular named Jame jokes around so much. Were always making fun of each other. Everyday is fun to be with them in class, doing chemistry labs, playing badminton, watching shows. I remember one day they even had me read part of their report in Thai for the class which I royally messed up the pronunciation, turning the class into an entertainment hour for them. Yeah, ...

          ... you saturday morning mum and dad (we thought it was sunday but its not - its the 4th)

          so we r off rafting 2moro and staying at a chalet - then to the island for 2 nights and beach :) :)
          then a 6hr drive up to Bangkok on friday afternoon (stoppin to get a few things) then r flight is 1am sat morn and we get into heathrow 7.15am ish your time on sat morning.
