Lucy and Katie started to show signs of hunger halfway through the tour becoming focused on finding a supermarket instead of paying attention to Emma's tour! There was the worrying risk of them becoming grumpy so we gave up the search for a supermarket and had to settle with a cafe. it was a good find actually. We started out our day at Acetaia di Giorgio, in Modena, a private home that for generations, since the 1800's, has been making private reserve balsamic vinegar. The path starts at a large park area along side the River Po. I bike mostly on flat-ish paths and roads. Along the way I pass by the corn fields that I saw from the bell tower in Cremona's center.
