    ... the pit toilets in this campground were cleaner than Pinecrest.

    A great drive through beautiful country to Kalispell, Montana, the gateway to the West Glacier entrance to the Glacier National Park.

    The Outlaw Hotel was nice and we ordered dinner from the Montana Club. We both had a California Club sandwich (chicken breast, bacon, cheese) and a side salad. ...

    ... going but did great and managed to get there. It was a total walk of 8k with quite a steep climb up to the lake and they were fab. Not sure they'd have managed that at the beginning of this trip. They're certainly getting stronger but I'm not sure I'd take them any further than that right now... Still the lake was completely worth it, surrounded by mountains, glaciers and waterfalls, just beautiful and somehow wilder ...

    We organized a trip to Gerry Johnson Hot Springs in Northern Idaho, one of our usual weekend haunts during our time together in Missoula. There's hardly a better place to relax.
