      ... more overcast.

As we continued west had some intermittent rain. Went throughThe Loop, switch backs on the road, Weeping Wall, trickling water falls splashing on the road and two tunnels. Road follows side of a clift as it depends from higher elevation sub-alpine terrain to the forest on the western side. Lots of overlooks and got more great pictures. Had two short, heavy storms and were ...

And then to top it off they informed us that the best Delta airlines can do is get us on a flight that departs at 9:45 p.m. to Kalispell, AN 8 HOUR LAYOVER IN MINNEAPOLIS! We changed into our bathing suits and got out into the water. Pippi ...

We finally have arrived in Kalispell!

To get to the USA Boarder from Invermere was pretty easy we even made a stop at the empty Fort Steel. Just the USA Boarder guards wanted to have a form filled out, our fingerprints and a picture in which we all looked a bit... what should I say, it could have been a pic of us on a better day. And as if that wasn't enough we had to pay $6.00 (everybody wants ...

... drives I've ever been on. On every turn through the drive, the park would give us another beautiful view and you couldn't take a bad picture here because it's just that beautiful! Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction going on at the time and there was little or no place to pull over to take a picture. So we needed to take pictures via the driveby style. When things opened up a bit along the road, we were able to pull over and take a break. At ...
