          Unlike the early pioneers, we have continued to enjoy our more recent Airbnb/Homeaway accommodations! We particularly enjoyed the ranch next to the Snake River, near the pioneer trail.

          And and so to the fox, and his thought for this week. "If you're always racing to the next moment, what happens to the one you're in? Enjoy the ride (on a tractor)!.

          ... the sign said "Road Work - Next 5 Miles". It didn't look too bad at first until you see the "Pavement Ends" sign. It wasn't as bad as yesterday, the gravel was mostly hard packed though the 5 miles was actually more like 6 miles, the really loose gravel didn't appear until the last half mile. After that it was clear sailing and mostly boring, until we turned west onto US-2W towards Glacier National Park.

          ... shakes at McDonalds, the containers fit Valentino's cup holder perfectly, but 600 calories each?

          Top down and 70 degrees on Hwy 2 all the way to Kalispell. The Allante may not be the best car for big city commutes but on the open road at speed+ you can not beat it. I had a chance to hold the reins lightly and let all 300 hp exercise their legs. ...

          ... at the KOA in West Glacier around 2:30 or so and it was a bit chilly when we arrived. It ended up getting down in the low 40's during the night --- I even had to bring out an extra blanket and close all the windows in the motorhome. The campground is beautiful and we have an awesome site and are surrounded by nothing, but mountains and evergreens. The air is so clean and fresh.
