    ... We were very impressed with the dedication to Rossi - there were numerous posters and other memorabilia to look at, menus with Rossi symbols, 46 chips on sale and even Kerrie's coffee came decorated with the famous 46. The only thing we couldn't find was a postcard to send!

    Unfortunately, even though Greg joined the local gathering of men on a bench in the shade, there was no sign of the great man himself. Kerrie did eventually find ...

    ... Panoramica Adriatica which is road through Parco San Bartolo. This is where Valentino Rossi and his friends would ride their scooters as teenagers to improve their skills. The road winds through the national park with sweeping curves and coastal views - apparently. When we rode it, there was so much fog that we mainly saw the road in front of us and a few bushes beside us. Hopefully we get to ride it again on our day trip to San Marino and the fog might be gone!

    Today dawned bright and sunny, and relatively warm after the icy wind of the past two or three days, and it certainly made a huge difference to the appearance of the town. The sun sparkled on the wet cobblestone streets, and fairly bounced off the creamy brown brickwork of most of the buildings.
