    ... ginger beer... but I'm saving them for a special occasion. It's crazy the little things you miss living abroad - and seeing all kinds of things in the shop that I couldn't buy without bankrupting myself was fairly difficult. I was very happy with my bottle of Ribena for the road, and that evening I ended up having Soreen Malt Loaf for dinner because I wasn't really hungry and couldn't face going out to find dinner by myself in what seemed to be quite a touristy town centre ...

    ... takes us between 50-60 minutes to get there usually, and the video is of the last half hour coming home after we left early because we knew the weather was coming in. I have found though that the Canadians are very good at dealing with bad road conditions. The roads are cleared very well, at least compared to the UK, and I've never felt unsafe driving. I guess it helps that the roads are much wider as well. Actually, that's a lie. I hate ...

    ... me some time to have a think about future plans however, which has been useful - I've even applied to some UK graduate schemes, but I'm not sure how that will go! Anyway, this was just a quick note. I'm back in the snow. But I'm not going to ruin my nice sunny post with pictures of the snow. That's for next time!     ... than anticipated.

    We had such an adventure on that drive though. We came back the scenic route, and found the World's Longest Covered Bridge, and also went through the Parc de la Gaspesie. I'm sure Chris has some gorgeous photos as we took it slowly and stopped whenever we saw things that were pretty. It did end up getting pretty dark on our way through the park, which was fine - until there were giant great mooses in the middle of my road. We think we saw ...
