      ... Martin and I find that anything above -10C is not that cold, unless it's windy. The wind chill here can take it very quickly from -10C to feeling like -20C. Take right now for instance, the wind is currently only 24MPH according to my phone, but that takes the temperature from -13C to feeling like -24C. And 24MPH is a fairly low wind for here. We've had it up to 80MPH I think.

      ... me some time to have a think about future plans however, which has been useful - I've even applied to some UK graduate schemes, but I'm not sure how that will go! Anyway, this was just a quick note. I'm back in the snow. But I'm not going to ruin my nice sunny post with pictures of the snow. That's for next time!       ... much open really, because we had managed to get there between the Summer and Winter seasons, but we still managed to visit North Conway, where we used to go skiing, and visit some of the places I had been to before.       ... in the tradition of sharing things you are thankful for on Thanksgiving, here are a couple of mine:

      • I have wonderful friends and family who put up with (and sometimes even encourage!) my crazy addiction to travelling.
