    ... comes and I am taken to the harbour. It is cold today and though I am rugged up I'm freezing. I don't know how Hinesh is dealing with the zodiac. We board the boat and I take a seat inside. The 3 hour cruise starts and I initially tried to brave it outside but the wind chill was too much for this Aussie. On the cruise I see the Minke, Baluga, Fin, Humpback whales and some grey seals. It was cool to see them but way too far for my liking. But I guess they aren't going to come close ...

    ... old areas and most of the city is criss-crossd with cycle trails. The campsite we are staying at has bikes that campers can borrow without a charge. This evening we cycled along a very posh road with houses straight out of an episode of "Grand Designs", they overlooked the river and one even had a garage with picture windows with a seaview.

    Getting huge whippy icecreams, in the evening has become a bit of a habit on this holiday. The whippy theme started in Iceland ...

    We started out at 6:25 AM this morning and a couple of hours into our trip we came upon a pod of beluga whales. They were swimming up the river so we stopped our engine as they got closer. Paul go some great pictures on his camera. We watched them for about 15 minutes. Two of them swam about 3 feet deep under our swim platform.     ... the other side of the river, where we came from, looked close enough to walk over. Since it was low tide we thought maybe we'd be able to cross the little river-we figured maybe it would go as high as our knees. We stopped quite a few times to ponder if we could succeed.
