    ... Hanson carry-all bag which I'm convinced was almost solely down to the fact the logo (HH) matches her initials. As far as purchase reasons go, that's a pretty good one and at least this purchase of hers actually had a reason!

    And with that, we came to the end of our lovely 2 weeks in Canada. I promised a shorter, less funny read and I'm pretty sure I've delivered that. No plans for any travel in the near future so I'll guess that's it for now!

    ... Baie Sainte Catherine, a mere 6 hours drive from Montreal, or as the Canadians call it 'popping down the road'! We stopped to refuel en route, at a petrol station in a small town. This was our first real test with speaking French. It didn't go well! Kirsty had told me that the fuel cap was on the drivers side, it turns out it wasn't, and the French Canadian lady who was in charge of the pumps tried to explain this to us ...

    ... Seven Seas lounge ("Grace of Monaco") and some played bridge, backgammon, etc. The spa did a big business in massages, manicures and fitness workouts.  There is always shopping on board and gambling, but John and I prefer to read a book or work on an art project or write post cards!      Dinner was an Italian buffet.  Another day at sea tomorrow -- we are hoping for blue ...

    ... beautiful display of hand dipped chocolates of every variety. We were about to purchase a few when we noticed the upper level of the shop was actually an ice cream shop and deli. Sheree is programmed to walk toward ice cream, so we decided to take a look at that first and then maybe buy some chocolates. We never made it back. We had gone completely to the dark side again and opted for ice cream, but the bonus is the chocolate dip. ...

    We left Quebec City a bit too early and ended up in the tail end of rush hour traffic. A bit of stop and go traffic for a few kilometers and then it picked up again, so it really wasn't to bad.
