... Having taken loads of photos on the way down earlier I simply headed as fast as possible back up to the summit and without even stopping at Stelvio itself I started my decent down the magical East side pass.

... IPad and I was well beaten by Jenny as is mostly the case. No Wifi in the room but it is advertised so will ask about it. Was not too interested in the TV show which had naked men and women dancing with a block of concrete. They took her advice and we watched them walking along their narrow path and they finally appeared . . .at which point John said, "That was stupid!" Apparently, the trail was all up - some switchbacks and some sheer up!
