Travel Blogs from Paris
Today was mostly a free "explore the city" day. There was continental breakfast in the lobby. My mother went down and came back with an assortment of way to much bread, an apple and a banana. I have had bread at EVERY meal since I arrived in Paris. I think the French eat a ton of carbs to keep their energy levels up, because all they do is walk. It looks like my sneaky yet fabulous husband Bob had planned this all along with Rob because he knew he was going to be coming to Paris the last night we were there. Krista was also surprised because Rob did not tell her where they ...
... then met up with our guide later on for the tour of the palace! Our guide Aurora was amazing and it was so great to learn so much more about not only the palace and the French Revolution, but the kings and queens who resided there...in particular Marie Antoinette which I am most fascinated about! So much wealth, power and opulence it is incredible! After the tour we wondered the gardens a bit more then headed down to the Trianon which was the 'summer' house (which is ...
