... through the park, we made it to Lake Bled. Bled is a resort town that is touristy, yet tranquil & gorgeous! Our first order of business was laundry. Of course, now we find out that laundromats are few & far between in this country. So, rather than spend more than $100 to have the hotel to do (priced by the piece, not the load!), we decided to find ...

... mountains. The water of the Soca River is bright turquoise and absolutely beautiful! The town we are in tonight, Bovec, is very small. The apartment is nothing to get excited about, but it's only 1 night and it's relatively inexpensive! We have loved every minute of our travels in Slovenia. Tomorrow we will drive through the country's only national park, which has 50 hairpin turns...something tells me that will be both exciting and ...

A big day was planned as I had located a Triumph dealer in the town of Villach which was some 370 plus kms from Innsbruck. The bike needed servicing and the rear Tyre was looking a bit second hand. Some of the ride was across flattish countryside as we had to dip back into the bottom of Germany before ...

    ... rejoin the boys.

They were of course hungry, so we walked down the street to a restaurant known for its outdoor grill. The meal was good, but took a long time as there seemed to be some sort of family drama going on with the staff (looked like two brothers running the place). We finished dinner with enough time for Sam, Blake, Brady and Bryce to get in a round of mini-golf. Then it was time for bed after a busy day.

... took the steep uphill climb to the castle which overlooks the lake. Whilst at the top we bumped into a couple of Mexican guys who we'd met on a train the other day so it was nice to see them again. It was lovely at the castle, it's a shame about the weather, but the views were still fantastic. Later in the day we headed back down the hill but I thought it would be a nice idea to go back a different way to see a bit more of the town. However, after ...
