... The day we left we had to check out early but didn't fly back to Raro until 7pm and then the LA flight was not until midnight. Unfortunately they emptied the lagoon of clams in a couple of years because Aitutaki&#8217;s clams grow very slowly and didn&#8217;t have time to breed (or whatever they do). ... for about 3 hours, then on my last S-bend of the day... I snapped my center line :( Packed everything up for Aitutaki then chilled for the rest of the day. Good flight to Aitutaki, but rained heavily when I arrived. I was the only person staying in the hostel, and the owners were very nice. Place wasnt the cleanest though.

... mennä JK's Cafe nimiseen paikkaan syömään, koska siellä piti poliisitalon seinällä olevan repaleisen lapun mukaan olla tänään grillauspäivä, mutta eihän me tietysti mitään sellaista paikkaa löydetty. Ajeltiin täydessä pimeydessä jossain keskellä viidakkoa ja ei merkin merkkiä mistään perhanan JK's Cafesta, joten ei auttanut muu kuin lopulta päräyttää Samaden lähellä olevalle kalliille Boat Shed ravintolalle syömään. Matkalla paratiisiin - Päivä 5 Tiistai 24.3 Tänään vetäistiin skootterilla saaren ympäri ja illalla osallistuttiin perinteiseen Island Nightiin, joten tämä päivitys olikin sitten tässä, minä lähden nyt uimaan! :-)... No otetaan nyt kuitenkin jotain. Aamupalan jälkeen lähdettiin siis pöristelemään skootterilla ja ajettiin loppujen lopuksi lenkki koko saaren ympäri. Tänään oli vielä hiukan kuumempi päivä kuin eilen, joten todellista hikoilua oli pienikin ...

Matkalla paratiisiin päivä 2 Lauantai 21.3 ..mitä? taasko? Melko lämmintä oli yöllä, mutta oikein pehmeä ja raitis ilma puhalteli avoimesta ikkunasta sisään huoneeseen. Herätys oli kello 6.30 ja aamupalan kautta valmistautumaan seuraavaan lentoon. Hotellin omistaja ehdotti, että käykää ihmeessä vielä hakemassa ruokakaupasta jotain tarpeita mukaan, koska Aitutakilla on huonommin tuotteita saatavilla, varsinkin sunnuntaina! We met other guests at the Managers cocktail party, which was held at sunset, and it was a great way to meet the other guests as well as some of the staff.
