Chelsey's boyfriend Matt also arrived this day and is staying with us now for about a week and half so for the rest of the day we decided to show him the town. When we headed out for dinner we worked out we can walk to just about everything that's worth seeing in Florence.
On the way to the restaurant that was recommended, we passed many old churches and squares, markets and passed Florence's famous Duomo. The day did not improve, they got to the hotel late, had to call the night porter and then got a **** room - perhaps in other circumstances a room in the middle of old town Florence in a 17th century building would be nice - but not tonight. Again the staff were wonderful, the dads think it is because they are nice to people, they are nice back.
