There was definitely a similar number this year too, and after the fireworks, the party continued into the night. Us Italians love a party, and we finally got home about 2pm. Hey, we're still down with the kids you know!

... where two famous Michelangelo sculptures, "Night and Day" and "Dusk and Dawn" were displayed. After that we went to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore which is the church with Brunelleschi's famous dome (Il Duomo). We all got to climb to the top of the dome where we had an amazing view of the entire city! After that we were free to do what we wanted and so a group of us decided to climb the tower of Santa Maria del Fiore to get another amazing ...
