      ... shear rock faces that lead into craggy pinnacles. Great for the hundreds of climbers in the area but really bad if you’re a monastery builder as they all want them built at the top. Turns out to be a great sight in the 21st century. With the world’s worst map in hand we managed our way to the top of a rock, with no monastery on top, but a phenomenal view in the sunshine.       ... home cycling through Greece then north to Germany. The sun comes out and the cyclists continue up hill. We have not got the heart to tell them that there is far worse to come. A fruit and veg lorry pulls up in the empty square, loudspeaker yelling its arrival well before we see it. Next minute the van is surrounded by villagers, mostly old ladies and children.
