We stayed at this beach however decided not to go though a large beach puddle. Others did. Later we talked to some German campers who had been locked in here for 3 weeks, not that they were complaining. It had rained and the estuary filled up. Mind you we had not really seen much rain. We considered the risk for one night and decided to have a lovely swim in beautiful in water. Sadly we could not stay! ...

... line and, except for the four hotels, the
houses are without any style and unmaintained. The tourists were walking further
and further hoping to find something interesting or nice. There was nothing.

After walking for about an hour in the 34 degree heat, I
went back to the tenderd and rode back to the ship.

The paths are difficult to navigate because the stones are uneven, passageways are narrow, and there are many stairways. Nik was the restaurateur in the small bay of Skoutari. His 86 year old dad and brother supplied the fish. We watch closely as they did their' run'. A marvel, still rowing at that ripe old age. No doubt, still giving advice too! ...
