The train was packed because there is a festival in ...

Then got off the train back at Marienplatz and had a bit of a walk around the town, nothing particularly interesting. Went back to the hotel for a rest and back out to dinner at another pub for a pork knuckle and strudel near the deutsches museum, had a pretty early dinner because it was all we could book ...

Bavaria can seem like every German stereotype rolled into one. Lederhosen, beer halls, oompah bands and romantic castles are just some of Bavarian cliches associated with Germany as a whole. But as any Bavarian will tell you, the state thinks of itself Bavarian first and German second. And as any German outside of bavaria will tell you, the Bavarian stereotypes aren't representative of the rest of Germany. ...
