    After a nicely-catered flight on Singapore Airlines (endless food and drinks served in a first class fashion!), we woke up (John slept little to not at all, Sally and Jill not much more!) flying over Ireland around 8:00 in the morning (1 AM central time).     We left our hotel at 8 am this morning and drove to the Bridge at Remagen. We ran into some traffic, but arrived shortly after 11.     ... on your life and to get pushed outside of where you are comfortable. The other thing that surprised me is how many people simply hustle day in and day out to make a buck. Granted a lot of the corner sales guys and pushy restaurant owners are annoying, but man do they keep going no matter how much rejection they face. It's a good lesson in business and in life.
