    ... streets with cobbled ground leading to as yet unexplored shops and cafés. We strolled along the front and then up the hill behind the buildings to see view. Sampled the gelato, had to be done! Strawberry and coffee, not together! Then came down the narrow cobbled street stopping off at a wine shop. The shop had bottles open that you could sample and man was so helpful. Bought a red and a sparkling red (Hope Stu likes) and some limoncello. Once back at waters ...

    Our home this week is just outside of the city centre of Lugano only about 30 minutes drive from Lake Como. Switzerland was a little confusing to begin with, they are not part of the EU, they have their own currency, they have their own power plugs, everyone here speaks Italian, and if they don't speak that, they speak German, and if they don't speak that they speak some other lingo, but fortunately they seem to have a reasonably handle on English too.
