... I swam over the biggest, ugliest thing ever. Definitely not a ray as we'd seen those in the Maldives. Went back for a better look, then drew it when I got out the water. Identified as an Angel Shark at least 4.6 metres long, the width of the back of the boat!! Yuk. We also saw a turtle and a ray from the boat too. Loving it:) ...
We head south and travel through some scenic sand dine areas and then through some small roads over and through the mountains. There are numerous volcanoes and lava flows in a variety of colours and contrasts of texture. The small towns are very interesting too, particularly Betancuria which is very pretty with interesting buildings and colourful flowers.

... the sunshine. David goes off for an exploratory walk whilst Marjory enjoys her half hour swim. We go for a wander around the resort and find quite a few good looking restaurants to choose from for dinner.
We choose a restaurant in the square for dinner and enjoy a good meal whilst listening to a
live group with a good female singer.
... our bcd's and went under with our regulators in our mouth, we popped our ears and maintained neutral buoyancy. As we started diving I felt the water rush past as a school of fish go by. Then we saw a gap Damion stuck his hand in front of it and squid came rushing past.
