The weather was hot again today, around 25C. Lucy had some translations to do, so the rest of us headed to the ski lift at Czarna Góra. A few złoties for a pleasant and scenic ride on the lift and we stood near the top of Czarna with yet more beautiful scenery. ... They are still discovering new parts to the cave system and have very recently found a cavern the size of the National Stadium. They are hoping to create public access for next year, but apparently this is on the Czech Republic side to the cave system and they are negotiating how they will share the entrance prices and the access responsibilities. Clear skies and bright sunshine for the first time in a week! Lucy and I slipped out at 8am for a 4km run past the reservoir and dam to loosen up for the day, followed by an unusually healthy breakfast of fruit and corn flakes (so far this holiday we've eaten a lot of meat and cheese which is not helping energy levels or body shape!).

Back to the was owned by a local man who carved the figures out as a hobby after the first world war, but was left to decay for several years.
