... boulevard at the heart of historic Berlin & thought to be the grandest street in the city. We passed many major sites but the highlight was the Brandenburg Gate and the beautiful Reichstag. This building, now the German Parliment, mixes the grandeur of old-world architecture with a modern glass dome that sits on top of it. It is quite stunning to see lit-up & glowing at night.

... the nucleus of our noontime break. We found another little restaurant frequented predominantly by locals and guess what...we had schnitzels once more. And for dessert...climb aboard the tramway and up to the Hohensalzburg Fortress above the town for another Mozart performance!

... as soon as we arrived. After a quick power nap we took a bus to the Old Town to explore and get some dinner. It was a very scenic little place and we got some great photos which I'll be able to upload once I get home. The sunset was quite spectacular as we stood on a bridge full of love padlocks.
