    .....well, scones rather than bread. After school, our "dirty dozen" walked to dinner with Alex and Hailey, natives of Plymouth who traveled to Fredonia last year.     ... the main goal back in October. I'm just an emotional person who likes to reflect on the intensity of the "little things" so today was a big deal. There is a lot of new vocabulary to learn. For example, a "torch" is a flashlight and "have a go" means "just try your best". I'll try to post one new word a day.     Well, after 60 mile an hour winds last night and torrential rain, it looks as if the weather may ease sufficiently to give us a window for departure.

    So we should start Wednesday at 7am and will head for Ushant and across the Bay of Biscay towards the north west cape of Spain, cap finisterre where there is always at least a gale blowing!

    ... We had a look around, the cowshed cafe with spectacular views. We then decided to go for a walk for our daily exercise, rather than using the pool (£3.50) or gym (£5.00). It was a windy day but the sun was out. We set off for a very up and down walk from eype to hive beach (Burton Bradstock).
