... back to camp a longer route on the bike paths to see a bit more of the park. It was a fab ride, we covered 10.5 miles in total so a good leg stretch. We saw a few different bits of landscape and also rode past the Jachthuis St Hubertus where the founders of the park (Kröller-Müllers) originally lived (along with a couple more Van Goghs). ... and got delightful girl who was most helpful. It was mega pricey (43 Euros for just one night) but we knew it would be that much and were confident it would be worth the spend. There are loads of campsites on the outskirts of the Park but we wanted the experience of actually staying within the fences. Dinner was tasty bbq with citronella! It's such a great incentive to use public transport. The weekend special ticket, which is what we purchased, is 42 euros and enables 1-5 people to travel anywhere in Germany providing its on regional trains.
